2011 6.7L BLOWING WATER FROM SURGE TANK

I HAVE A SCHOOL BUS THAT HAS LESS THAN 18000 MILES AND HAS STARTED BLOWING COOLANT FROM SURGE TANK OVERFLOW. I TOOK IT TO THE SHOP DUE TO NO CODES AND NOT OVERHEATING AND PRESSURE TEST CHECKED OUT OK. THE SHOP COULD NOT FIGURE OUT WHAT THE ISSUE WAS. THEY GAVE ME PAPERS TO SEND TO CUMMINGS TO DOCUMENT COOLANT LOSS. HAS ANYONE ELSE EVER HAD THIS ISSUE? I WOULD LIKE TO FIX IT BEFORE IT GOES OUT AND DOES GET HOT. THANKS TO ALL!

First thing you need to check is the Rad cap if it is not holding preasure it will suck in air at the pump, it is a centrifical pump and without preasure the seal will unseat. The work order, you got should tell you if they checked it, if not phone them.
Just a thought!

One other thing is after a drive of an hour or more, open the hood and see if the top rad hose is solid, it is posible the surge tank is leaking at the threads or top seams

On this site is Handy links in the search section do a complete bottle test, as much as it fits your unit, then talk to crysler again. If it only happens when it is cold then you have to take it to the dealer and leave it overnight. There is no use taking a truck in to be repaired for something that they can not duplicate, at the appointment time.
