Anybody got a chip out for the 6.7 yet? My cousing has a cab & chassis on order with the exhaust brake option. He wants to chip it ASAP.

I wouldn't expect much before March or so of next year. The motors have only been out a month or so now.

And when the stuff does come out it will probably be really expensive. maybe edge or bully dog will be the first ones out w/ stuff. Id like to see what kinda power can be made w/ the 6.7s

my dad bought an '07 cab & chassis with the 6.7L and some guys at the dealership know some people at some aftermarket companies and they said that it was going to take awhile to mod the new engines because of the new design and tough emissions standards.

plus if you are going to straight pipe it, tricking the computers into thinking the urea(sp?) thing is still there will be a problem.

I saw one of the SEMA pics had like a tuner box in the cab, it was a cab/chassis photo in which it showed the interior with a G56 transmission. The box looked like a Bullydog. Im not sure whether it was for decoration, *doubt it*, so it must mean something.

Sorry if this confused ya.

I think it will be a pretty trick box that will not leave a footprint on the new ECM. All 3 CM's are communicating asynchronously and at 64 bit which means they are recording and storing way more information. May be they will use that info for warranty, but leave it to people like Quad and SEMA to figure it out.

When you say SEMA, are you talking about the event bigsnake? Do you mean just people at SEMA would figure it out or is that a initials for a company?

I feel that once they get around the emissions...however long that may take, it will end up being just as moddable as the current engines.

Although maybe most people will be happy with the stock power...we will just have to see once more of them hit the streets.
