Quick Question

Now that these trucks have all this after treatment stuff, and they have to comply to emissions, does this mean that trucks have to get both a state and emissions inspection like gassers do, or are diesels still exempt from emissions? If so its gonna suck once mods start happening. no more of this :smoke

I think its still going to depend on your city and state. Im sure most cities in say ca will be subject to testing (some cities I believe now have diesel testing).

1996 Gmc k2500 4x4 6.5 turbo diesel, with mods Blew the head gasket, put all new heads, valves, injecotrs gaskets etc on the truck only to get it together and find out it had no oil pressure, and sounded horrible (pry a spun bearing). SOLD

dang, this is looking like bad news for diesel modding.

I agree, it just depends, You just have to be careful how you mod.

Go Greyhound, and leave your luggage with us. *maybe not intentionally*
