Need new forum?

When this forum was started and up until recently most of the discussion was about the cab/chassis 6.7 and Aisin 6 speed, only because that's all that was out at the time, now with the full body pick ups coming, understandably with more interest in them more people will be posting about the 07.5 pick up.
The difference in drive trains has lead to some confusion (at least with me) regarding the 07 cab/chassis and the 07.5 full body posts, and now with the 4500 and 5500's coming soon maybe the 6.7 forum will need to be split between pick ups and cab/chassis, just a thought.

that's a good idea, especially with the differences in proposed horsepower and torque between the two models

The forum doesn't seem busy enough with all trucks to justify splitting it up.

Like I said, it's just a thought, and it doesn't have to do with how busy the forum is but the fact that the characteristics of the Cab chassis trucks and pick ups are different, such as even though they both have the new 6.7, the pick up has higher rated HP and torque, also the new blue tech engine technology that meets 2010 emissions standards. While the cab/chassis has the Aisin 6 speed auto, very different frame and not sure about the rear axles, gear ratios and brake assembly's.
I've read posts here that are morphing the options of the two different packages, which leaves one to wonder which truck they're referring to.
