i drove a 6.7 mega cab..

my buddy just ggot done with fireschool.. and he has enough money saved up for a pretty hefty DP for a 07 mega cab.. he was looking at the 5.9's and i asked the sales guy HEY you would happen to have a 6.7 that i can hear do you..? he tossed me the keys..! started it up .. walked arround it.. WOW.. its nothing like the 5.9 it still has that good ol cummins knock to it but its quiet.. i dont like the exhaust.. it makes.. NO SOUND!! and it smells fresh! i wish i had my camara with me .. that 6.7 is kinda cramped in there.. this one had the jake brake on it.. it slows it down ALOT. . sounds good.. a little quiet but good..! now for the good stuff..!!!

TRANNY.. OMFG.. best dodge tranny i ever drove.. it wasnt sloppy.. ( then again i wasnt towing anything) its a sport tronic.. you can select the gears.. 1-6.. or you can put it in D and hit the gas.... not to mention that thing is a rocket!! motor has a 100K mile warentee.. and tranny 180K mile warentee.. nice trucks.. i want to hear it W/O the DPF cat and muffler! BTW.. they were asking 44K for the truck!

With fuel costs pushing $3.00 per gal....what's the fuel economy on the highway?

I'd like to pick up an 06 Cummins or Duramax for 30k with few miles on it... around here... that price would be 45k!!!

I bought my truck out of state a few years back and I paid about 6-7,000 less then what they were asking for it around here!
