New truck

My dad is looking at buying a new truck and he is not sure if he wants to stay with the 5.9 or go to the 6.7. Me having a 2000 have not heard alot about either. Also the truck will remain stock. Which is better. Why?

2000 CTD, HOT Juice w/Attitude, Smarty, Mach 2 injectors (105 HP), 4" exhaust, BHAF, SB Clutch, FASS 150 ARP 12mm studs, stage 3 snow kit.

2008 f350/96 cummins in the works.

It's a matter of opinion. Good luck to your dad with the decision.

Garage
I could not agree with Dominic more, you are getting a good rig in both trucks.

Both are good trucks, automatics are not very strong in the 5.9 but I know some people that have had good luck with them. Fuel mileage is terrible in the 6.7 Im getting 15-16 on the highway with exhaust & egr deleted and 285 tires, very good trucks other than that. Both motors are pretty solid from my experience.
