6-speed auto

Anyone in here have the new 6-speed automatic. I haven't been able to find much out about this unit. How is it? Is it as good as the Allison?

I have it. Not sure if it's as good as the allison, time will tell but it has been great thus far. They did a great job with it in my opinion!

Which 6speed? Cab and chassis or regular cab? If it is cab and chassis it'll have the asian if it is not a cab n chassis it'll have the 68rfe. Both are pretty good. I have a 68rfe and it shifts great.

I got it but I only have 800 miles. It's smooth. Seems 1st, 2nd , and 3rd are designed well to get your load moving.

I have the new 6.7 cummins turbo diesel in my new 07 Laramie quad cab 2500 with the BLUETEC ultra-clean system. Brand new. What would the mileage probably range in the new truck.Regular city driving?
Thanks

So far mine has about 1500 miles and I get 16-17 hand calculated mpg. And that's a pretty good bit of "feeling the power!" well pleased!

My Mega has 6 speed 68rfeor rhe not the AISIN . WORKS AWESOME with the Exhaust it is pure excellence. I had a 07 with 5.9 and added the factory JAKE BRAKE that was o.k. This is WAY stronger / BETTER.GFC
