Mike put the truck in tow haul and try that I know my exhaust brake is stronger in tow haul. You can even just put the truck in 4th and go down some hill and left off. just some options to give you to test things out. Does the light come on, on the switch?

thanks for the reply. i guess i should have said loss of braking with exhaust brake. the exhaust brake just doesn't slow my truck down after the delete was done. I have tried tow/haul button the brake is working just doesn't slow me down at all. just trying to find out if it just me or other trucks after doing the delete have this issue.
thanks mike

I use H&S delete kit also and my exhaust brake is way more agressive. Don`t want to scare you but I lost exhaust brake last summer and they had to change the turbo ; it was stuck in soot and impossible to clean! Good luck!

I remeber lossing a little stoping power when my turbo fried but never related the two until now.

Well , exhaust brake loss or scattered boost are a good sign that the moving parts inside the VGT are getting stuck in soot! CAUSE: EGR CRAP!
