What is everyone saw for a max boost on there truck i know my clutch is going but i have never saw over 31psi and i hear of peeps with 5.9cr stock turbo getting 45-48 what the heck. question why?

I have seen Right about 30 PSI but I have never held it a WOT to see where it goes. Plus Im pretty much all stock so maybe with Edge and Deletes you could pull a lil more boost.

yeah i just have level 5 i have had my alert set at 35 and its never went off even when i just put the deletes on with a good clutch or atleast i thought it was good lol. I just dont understand why they are getting that much more boost than us with very few mods anything close to 50psi is pretty high for a stock turbo

Dude im dumb as you know what when it comes to stuff like that. I couldnt even make it sound like i know what im talkimg about lol. But i hear mixed feelings about the vgt compared to others

I think w/o the EGR the VGT would be great, however since the veins in the turbo open and close the soot kills them. It would be interesting to see what the boost span is Max PSI for the VGT. I believe the 24V VP44 Cummins was near 35 PSI but I could be wrong. As for the CR's I have no Idea.

It easyly get up to 38 psi. Stock setup will let it go up to 40 psi max. Don`t matter in what level your in or even stock it will go pass 35psi easy. If you hold it down to the floor way up to 3000rpm it will pass 35psi. Response is always slower on a VGT and it takes more time to get the boost up. And just compare the size of your 6.7 turbo and the 5.9 . Bigger a turbo is longer it is to get up in boost.

My clutch must be not be holding it. I have never saw 35. But i got a sb coming soon thanks again.

I mean don`t matter what level my edge is on or even on stock settings(timing) it easyly gets past 35 psi. I only run edge , EGR and DPF delete but the truck is manual so if I hold down way up to 3000rpm before shifting it goes well past the 36psi edge alarm
