New Addition Magnaflow

Well guys i broke down and put a 4in magnaflow muffler on my truck. It made it alot quieter but that is what i was looking for and it actually gave the truck some sort of back pressure since it was 4in tbe. No more turbo lag it spools alot quicker i love the sound so much i let my buddy drive my truck just so i could hear it going up the street with some boost behind it the tone is really deep until you put your foot in it lol. I reccomend a good muffler to anyone that wants to get rid of the high pitch drone. Oh i almost forgot also got a 5in tip that is a black chrome it is sweet looking in the sun.

u shouldnt have any turbo lag......... the VGT turbo builds its own back pressure.... u can run a 7" tbe if it would fit with no back pressure problems......... on the other hand i have the 5" badp tbe with the magnaflow muffler and i love the sound.........

I recently changed my silverline to a flowmaster, 3-chamber, 4" in and out, and I noticed the same thing with the spool up time.(quicker) Much better, deeper tone, and certainly much quieter! Makes it a bit more friendly to drive.

Putting the muffler in created a more back pressure compared to what it was like with just the 4intbe from [email protected] The spool up time is about the same as it was stock if not a little more but i gotta agree the sound is awesome! It actually kinda sounds like a big boy truck when the jake is on lol some diesels sound good straight piped others no i just didnt like the high pitch drone at like 2700rpm.
