DPF Delete ?'s

I am new with this site and have studied almost all the threads about dpf delete stuff, but all my questions werent answered. I know some about diesel traucks, but not every thing. I have a 08 Sterling Bullet. I want to know the best delete kits on the market for my truck. From what I have been reading most of you guys know your crap. I would really appreciate the help.

I would look into H & S they have a kit for the cab and chassis/ I assume this is the kit you will need. you have came to the right place for sure. Im sure someone will pop and and give you all the details on a kit for your truck.

Well just recently i put an h&s system on dads truck and it was great. I got the 5in turbo back and egr block off plates. So far 1500 miles and truck has done well. The hardest part was getting the old off. But if it were me i would get edge with it to clear codes with or a stand alone moniter to do it. It will throw a soft code but nothin bad. Nobody has a totally code free kit yet but I give a thumbs up to h&s !!!! So far almost 3mpg from just the delete. Truck run alot better with the delete but run even better with edge. Hope this helps

04 smarty beta 4.4 and mp-8 , superchip stickers on the windows. SOLD
Wifes 04.5 4x4 smarty and dr p box exhaust intake and new rubber 502-1162 as of 12-02-09 With mostly stock tranny. Suncoast converter and valve body.
Dad 08 swb 4x4 h&s 5in turbo back egr block edge hot unlock and crappy clutch
98 12v 5spd 4.10s bhaf, exhaust, fuel plate, 4k gsk, timing, pump mods, and 300s Studs, o-ringed head, 3 piece manifold and 5in KDP tabbed, 60lb springs, titanium keepers
Moms 03 6spd- intake, smarty jr!!
01 reg cab dually 4x4 5spd bhaf raptor 150 and comp box Farmboy 5in 2in steel spacers for the rear with 6 new 305s! injectors on the way!!!!!

I just talked to a guy that had a wrecker with delete and he as well had h&s and was as happy with it as i was. The difference i can tell is a few lil bends than normal truck but it did look slick!

I really appreciate yalls help. Now when we are talking egr block off plates, like I said I dont know everything, just some, what is the purpose of it? Sorry I ask so many questions. I already have a 4-inch mbrp exhaust I guess I can get a kit that will tie into that.

So do you have dpf back now? Some of the guys can explain the egr better than i can. But recirculated exhaust gases back into the intake. So basically putting dirty and hot air back into the motor. But you could get i think its stage 2 from h&s it 4in down pipe and delete pipe and it will bolt up to what you have.

I looked at the kits and I really like the 5 inch setup. I have another ?, haha, i told ya a had a thousand. Will any of this affect the engine brake or exhaust brake or which ever you call it?

The only thing it will affect it the sound and it sounds good. But it doesnt change anything about it!

H&S has a 100% code free programer that is called the xrt. this programer cost $1000 and shuts off all emissions.This has three power tunes 120hp being the top one for now and the next month or so they will have a 175hp tune and 220hp tune along with gauges.With this kit you can also run what ever exaust you want because you will have the sims to plug into the sensors.

There is a specific XRT now for the Cab and chassis, and they work great. You also can do just the Electronic pakage wioth the DPF delete pipe top tie into the system you have.
