So i got the chance to buy a superchip propane system for my truck. I can get the whole system for 1000 bucks he said it was 2000 new i havent really looked into that. I was just wondering if any has this or has seen it. I know some one on here used to have it. Just want to get some info on it and if it would be worth it. Thanks.

Not to say the man didn't pay what he said. because it depends who he bought it from, if was it installed, I don't recall what the computer option cost., ...but they were around $900 new retail and the tanks were probably around $500-700.

I had it on my 6.7 and it ran me damn near $2500 for Tank ($850), Remote fill ($750) and kit $800. I will note that I wasn't running a superchips kit, I was running an ATS. That is a good price your getting but I would make sure it includes everything. I wouldn't have it unless you did remote fill, that way you don't have a tank in the bed of your truck. With remote fill, you can have the tank in your frame rails.

For what your paying for it, it would be well worth it. I paid full wack for mine so it was hard for me to justify for 75 hp. I gota be honest, I didn't install my kit so I can't tell ya how that will be. But it's a huge difference. Fuel mileage, temperature and power.

I've done a few nitrous kits in my days and I'm guessing it can't be much more difficult than that. Just gotta commit some time to it. Good luck with it and let us know what ya think.
