Fuel Pressure

Ok guys need help is there any way to check to see if i am running out of fuel on the top end??? I know there are plenty of people on here running stacked edges or bullydog with a fuel box just need to know how many of them have fuel systems as well. The guys at the dyno say i was but i have no clue. I plan on getting a fuel rail and pressure guage for it soon to monitor these 2 items i just wish the edge did but it doesnt. i also have a an Air Dog 150 coming in

Yeah you're on the right track. You need a guage for rail pressure and gauge to measure the pressure coming from the lift pump although if you're getting an AirDog the lift pump pressure wouldn't be my main concern, it would be rail pressure.

With my BullyDog Monitor I have rail pressure as one of the optional guages so I can't be of much help on which one to get but I have ran out of fuel a few times with just the BD so I believe that you may be doing just that but the AirDog will help.

Ya i would much rather have to spend $450 to get an AD installed than have to put a new CP3 in

Amen brotha! Of course you may have to upgrade your CP3 if the AirDog doesn't solve your problem.

Your Edge doesn't monitor that?

I thought for sure the Insight does, but can't remember if an Attitude did.

Nope attitude doesnt dont know bout insight it claims to have like 99 parameters to view. I called edge and asked why they took that option away unlike the 5.9 you could view it and asked them why would on gods green earth would i want to monitor barometric pressure at WOT instead of my fuel pressure???? The guy just got silent then i appologized to him for going off and he just laughed and said it was ok. 4rcFed where you get your guage at?

If you're looking for 4rcFed's rail pressure gauge, it's an ISSPRO EV². I know since he was a beta tester for a software revision we did a while back. BTW, as far as I know the ISSPRO gauges are the only ones available with the correct curve for the 6.7L rail pressure.
