Air Filter Change

How often should the air filter be changed? Would you base it soley on the indicator, by mileage, every other oil change, etc?

I'd change it every two weeks. The stock air filters flow like chit! haha jk. Every other oil change is what I have been told, but I didn't use the stock intake more than 600 miles.

Not to mention the cost of them....I would change it E/O oil change as well. I wouldn't depend on the computer to tell ya when to change it...

don't even bother looking at the joke of an indicator. there's a reason dodge stopped putting them on the trucks (can't remember if was mid '08 or when). that's really saying something if a dodge engineer can actually see that something is crappy and doesn't work. must have been a first for them! i have fixed more of their handy work than i'd like to admit. save some coin on those oem air filters and spring for a CAI. you'll be happy you did.

What does "CAI" stand for? Does this stand for "Cold Air Intake"?
