Which twins kit are you looking at? Really it depends on how complete the kit is. Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on the required supporting mods. You may want to switch out your manifold for something completely NON-EGR as that seems like it'd get in the way.

I checked out these; look awesome with a even length tube header. Price is a little salty.

I would def also check these out to. He made like high 700hp on fuel only with 80hp sticks and i think stage3 cp3. Personaly if i keep my truck till save up enough im going with a big 66 single and 120hp and wicked stg3 cp3 thts what i want but will also lose my exhaust brake going that route but oh well i want big hp on a single. Good luck in whatever approach you take send that money tree my way

Too bad we have these damn emission laws out here in CA coming into effect. No fun at all. I may just have to buy a new state to go with my truck. Those twins are sick though. Wish the ones on my VP truck were as cool as those.

Yeah the header really takes the cake with that set.

Sean, have you thought about doing some kind of urea injection to pass emissions tests? NOx would be all you would need to worry about if you did a EGR delete, even with the Twins, Dual CP3's should help you pass regardless of setup.

Our "SMOG" test will consist of a visual inspection, OBDII scan, and visual smoke test. There will be no dyno testing or sniffer testing. Anything that looks like it shouldn't be in there i.e. Intake, turbos, manifolds, plenums, electrical goodies etc... will all require an EO# So, there is no way I will pass with the twins. I could put it to stock, to pass and then put stuff back on. However, if I get pulled over, the fines for tampering with emissions equipment is huge. My friend got a $2500 ticket for an intake and no cat on his 06. Wasn't even running a programmer or anything at the time.

As for playing with the 6.7L, I'm more concerned with voiding my warranty at this point.
