Our "SMOG" test will consist of a visual inspection, OBDII scan, and visual smoke test. There will be no dyno testing or sniffer testing. Anything that looks like it shouldn't be in there i.e. Intake, turbos, manifolds, plenums, electrical goodies etc... will all require an EO# So, there is no way I will pass with the twins. I could put it to stock, to pass and then put stuff back on. However, if I get pulled over, the fines for tampering with emissions equipment is huge. My friend got a $2500 ticket for an intake and no cat on his 06. Wasn't even running a programmer or anything at the time.
As for playing with the 6.7L, I'm more concerned with voiding my warranty at this point.
