EGR and DPF delete

Is there anything other than a tuner/programmer that will allow me to delete my EGR and DPF without throwing a code? I'd like to be able to re-install everything for smog checks in the future, and hopefully be able to put everything back without voiding my warranty (one of the local dealers seems pretty cool though). I just want to get rid of the DPF because a friend of mine just told me that his started fire when he was parked next to a bush letting the turbo timer idle the truck down.

Just do the deletes and let if need be when returning to the dealer reinstall the dpf run down auto zone or advanced use there free code reader and clear the codes and you will be good. As far as a programmer that wont leave a footprint there is not one out there.

gotcha, so if I clear the codes, I'll be good. My friend has a Matco scan tool and I've been thinking of picking one up. Sounds easy enough to do the deletes. Thanks for the info.

Ya on their site they say it is not untraceable for the 6.7. you can prob get away with a tuner and then just pay some one to reflash your truck and if dodge wants to dig they will spend a while to find any pauses in the ecm

Smarty says the 6.7 leaves a print...i honestly think it depends on the Dodge Dealer...my buddies dad has a 6.7 w/ MP8...all DPF **** and it blows quite a bit of smoke...he took it off took in in whole new DPF, Cat and EGR...put the mp8 on and it still blows smoke...

now another fella I know...had a 03...bombed out!!!!! the dealer did a ton of work to it...one day a different fella took his truck in the shop, voided his warrenty...
