Smile Any advice with choosing a DPF delete kit

I am looking to place a DPF delete kit in my 2007 Mega cab. Any advice in choosing a DPF delete kit? I would like to keep it as stock as possible. Looking at DPF/R kit. Is this kit code free? Can anyone recommend anything else?
Thanks!

Code free if you do not delete your EGR, we have lots of 6.7 Liter delete experience.... give us a call or ask a few more questions

If you want Miles Per Gallon your gonna have to add a tuner of some sort to get the most gain.... so it becomes a toss up between a Tuner like XRT or DPF R style and Edge / other modules.

You can run codeless with dpf-r, with an egr delete. You have to remove the butterfly plate, or take the gear out, and the dpf-r module will clear the egr codes if you wait 10 seconds to start. Not code free, but codeless. Mine was anyway. But for the cost, you might as well go with smarty or xrt.

Thanks for writing back. Do you think the Smarty 6.7 With Aluminized DPF Delete Pipe is what I will need? How difficult was it to install? I am looking at the different delete kits out there and I found this one from Smarty, as you noted. Is it code free? Any better with gas mileage. Even though I have the new updates to my truck; every once in a while I get the check engine light on. It drives me crazy. I guess I am not running my truck hard enough.

The Smarty or XRT tuner with Pipe Delete will get you 3-4 MPG if your not a Hotshot operator.... EGR delete will get you the next few in economy gain. It's the only way to go unless your married to the warranty.

Even the external deletes are going to show up at the dealer, so you might as well get the best performance and economy if you have not invested in the deletes to date.

Hay Copey I dont see any thing you can do without jeperdizing your warranty. I guess the smarty and a DPF delete pipe or we can gut your DPF. Or you can put a fifthwheel hitch in that thing and i will work the heck out of it and clean the exh. out for ya.

Most dealers will void your waranty for deletes unless you have one of the MOD friendly dealers out there. (a few are but most are not) If your going to delete the DPF you might as well get rid of the EGR along the way which is what does more harm to your truck. Like others have said your best bet would be a delete pipe or even TBE and a tuner like Smarty or XRT.

The Flo Pro Delete pipe with an XRT67 and the EGR delete is about the easiest and most user friendly. Straight bolt up in place of the DPF so you can reinstall the dpf for a warranty trip. The H&S Programmer is an easy return to stock. The EGR delete takes wrench or two but also an easy to deal with mod. The smarty seems to work as good as the H&S but the support from H&S is way better and it's American made.
