285 vs 305

I am ordering tires and need some pros and cons. on each size. truck is stock height, I am putting a 2 inch leveling kit on at the same time.

any opinions would be helpful

well i had 285/65/18 BFG all terrain and loved them what is the price diff you looking at a certain tire? you will have no prob clearing either wit your leveling kit.

i can get an awsome deal on the cooper stt tires in either size. But from what i have heard if you dont go with a load range e tire and you put the leveling kit on, you will get a wobble in tires at highway speeds.

I had load range D and never got a death wobble but not saying you wont get one...cause once you mess wit the suspension thats where the death wobble can comes from i had my leveling kit wit stock wheels and tires before lift and went over a overpass and got the wobble made me ahve to clean my seats that was my first expierience wit it and never want to do it again

i dont want it either. May not do leveling kit and just do the 305 tires to be safe. If anyone else has a suggestion please help

dont want to scare you away from any of these just know it can happen chances slim to none but it can. didnt stop me from going bigger good luck wit bud

any pics of leveling kit with 285 vs 305 would help too.....? more importantly not sure wether i should install the kit or not? opinions anyone?
