Dont really know of any cons but pros are they both are pulling BEASTS smarty has less smoke unless your running supporting mods both are codeless and are fast loaders i think alot of people are really waiting for the black max to come out for xrt which will be hands down in my opinion for tunning on the fly. I like them both also i just know the xrt is bout a $85 cheaper than smarty right now thru GOS Performance on here they posted a thread on here bout the sale on them xrt's

thanks for the info. I dont want to blow my tranny, my turbo or anything else. I guess which one is the most reliable and safe.

Have heard good things about the smarty. Havent heard much about the xrt, except that its harder on the tranny than the smarty

Any info would be greatly appreciated

If you ran either of them on a low tune like a 80hp tune you would be fine and prob all the power you would ever want.

Smarty for less smoke, and more power. Level sw9 running 14me is over 200hp now. Smarty loads to the truck way faster than xrt. Revo settings to custom tune things like timing, torque, fuel pressure, and turbo.

Xrt has smoke, which could be a pro or a con I guess. You seem to hear more about what is to come with the h&s guys, such as digital gauges, black maxx, and mini maxx, but some of it is still yet to be seen. I'm not saying that as a bad thing, cuz it's nice to know what to look foward to.

Up until what I just read from soot, smarty was quite a bit cheaper, so do your research there. I think you really can't go wrong with either, but I would reccomend Smarty for you.

12 mega dually. garbage gone. mini with od.
