5500?

Anyone have a 5500? If so what kind of mileage do you get and what trans do you have in it? I'm thinking about getting one in the not too distant future and would like to know how much more fuel I would be burning than if I got a 3500 and any other cons of a 5500.

Most likely, unless I can do something simple that will increase mileage, I'm not really looking for big power.

just a simple tuner will work and get better MPG but I think all cab and chassie modles and all dodge trucks with a build date after 3/2009 will go into limp mode if a tuner is hooked up

I ain't got a 5500 ram its a 5500 4x4 sterling Dump truck 10' bed.
6.7-CTD 6spd auto 4.56 gears and 225/70R19.5G tire's.

Tows 30-35K-LB's reliably i have scaled it as heavy as 43K-LB's and it handled it fine.
Truck gets 12.5mpg so far i'm told they increase MPG after the first 50-75K miles on i barely got 25k miles. . .Hope this helps
