Ok do we have to run this pink **** that is causing problems wit water pump gaskets and seals to go bad???? Or can we get it completely flushed and run the old green antifreeze in it may be dumb to ask but i really dont know and would like to find out.
Need to keep the pink
to keep warrantee.
Having said that..... I lost my water pump
at 53,000 miles, it was covered by warrantee.
Afterwards, I was talking to the radiator shop I do business with and he told me that the vast majority of problems
he sees is those with the pink fluid.
He recommended changing the fluid every 25,000 miles while under warrantee then switch to the green
fluid. The pink
fluid loses its ability to protect seals and hoses much faster then the green
although it it keeps it corosion protection. The pink eats and softens all rubber componants of the cooling system: w/p seals, hoses etc. The shop owner also sees a lot of "sludge" build up in systems with the pink
With all of the equipment I have, all of it uses the green anti-freeze
