washer pump???

Ok so nothing pisses me off more than when your window is dirty and you go to hit the switch for some washer fluid to come do its dirty work and nothing and to top it off its cold as **** outside!!!! I checked the fluid plenty there, seems to not be frozen stuck a metal hanger down in there and stirred it around no slush that i can see poured hot water on the nozzles severle times with no result. I can not hear my pump or motor kick on so im thinking electrical but i could be wrong any help would be greatly appreciated cause its getting old stopping at the gas station to wash my window.

Brandon,

I have had the lines not completely freeze but go to slush and no flow.. that could be what you have going on.

I would make sure you check the fuse or relay for the washer fluid spray. If it was working before the cold and snow I would believe that is your problem.

Also what kinda of washer fluid are you running? I run a rain-x all season that has Ice melt in it...it does seem to stop this from happening..Just a thought.

Not sure on the truck... Did you look on the under side of the lid? I know they are listed there. I see what I can figure out this evening and shoot ya a text if I find it.

I had the same problem with my '98 last year...after it would sit in the sun for a few hours it would work again or the heat from the engine would soak through and melt the slush. The Rain X fluid worked for me as well too. I agree it is annoying.
