XRT Mileage

Well just took a 224mi roadtrip down around the Denver area and back to Cheyenne and got 17mpg running 85mph most of the time and on the hotdamn 175hp tune. Not bad i thought for having 35's and 6in lift.

Egts's were right around 600*-650* and boost was a average 8-10psi and that was going from 6000ft to down around 4800ft and then back up

That is really good. I am stock so far, and the best I have gotten is 17mpg running 65mph on 33s with a 2in lift! My EGTs are always over 1000 deg too. Regen its up to 1300. I will probably have this fixed by spring. I heard there might be something new and cool around Christmas!

Yeah I really want to get rid of this crap, as soon as I can. But I need a kick in the *** to get going. I nearly bought a PMT (so glad I didn't) and I just want to make sure I don't make a mistake. I know that you can't go wrong with either of the two frontrunners right now, but I would be cursing if something amazing came out a couple months later, you know? I guess its like computers. By the time you get it home, it is outdated. So are you going to have no computer then? Didn't think so. I'll give it till the end of February (don't drive as much in the winter) and then I'll get something.

Keep the H&S feedback coming. Its great to hear how much these engines can be helped. Maybe some towing results?
Thanks again!

I know the battle goes back and forth between H&S and Smarty, but right now I think that H&S is a bit ahead with tuning and they now offer the Black Maxx which adds gauges, shft on the fly, and de-fueling limits.
