Tires Boys and Girls....need help!

Alright i need some assitance in picking a tire for my truck currently i have the Nitto Terra Grapplers. Im looking at a rougher tread pattern not real concerned bout mileage more bout wear and to make my lift stand out. So here are my choices i have picked out.

1. Mickey Thompson Baja Claw
2. BFG KM2
3. Nitto Mud Grappler
4. Kumho Mud Terrain

All tires are either a 35-12.5 or 13.5 18 the order i put them in is no personal prefernce. If you all could give me some feedback if you have/or know someone running these or have ran them i would like to just see what they have gotten for mileage out of them and how they wore. Thanks Brandon other sections feel free to comment on this.

Your mud tires will not has the life that you will get out of an all terrain but I am sure you know this. I have heard that Nitto tires are a soft compond so they will wear faster. out of your list I would opt for wither the Kumho or BFG just make sure what ever you get is a load range E or they will not last on a truck as heavy as ours.

Not true, the mud tires have twice the tread depth and do last longer, even some A/T or hybrid A/T-M/T like the DC FCII's have deep treads and are 50k tires. I would prefer the Mickey's, they are by far the best tire I have had on my truck. Nittos MG's are loud and too soft to wear long, Kumhos are good and seem to last, BFG's suck I had a set and they chunked wore uneven and hardly lasted one year, they also balanced like chit.

For the price range there isnt much of a difference between the mickeys and the kumhos but I dont have any experiance with the kumhos other than what friends have said so I can only highly recommend the Mickeys or the Di(kCepeks also made by Mickey T.

A buddy at work has 37" kumho's, and had lots of problems with the casing splitting down the tread face. Not good when you are going down the highway! Nitto M/Ts are really loud and wear fast even if you are not towing or hauling anything.Mickey Thompsons, the tire shop I was going to buy them from (he had tehm in stock, good price) told me he would sell them to me but would not mount them as he felt they would not balance. Thats the only thing I ever heard about them, so I don't know if he got a bad batch, or they screwed him and he's pissed? Don't know about the KM2s, but the BFG All terrains really sucked on snow/ice. Not sure if that is something you need to worry about wherever you are, but??? I know I won't be getting any more M/Ts, because of winter driving and towing. My Toyo M/Ts suck in the winter, and they evaporate as soon as I hook up my 5th wheel. I am either going with the Toyo A/Ts ot Nitto Dura Grapplers next.

The guy that mounted my Mickeys said the same thing about the balancing but after mounting them they hardly needed any weight. He said he had only heard they didnt balance well but that he sure wouldnt say that any more after balancing mine. He had me worried at first but who knows like said above could have been a bad batch.
