clutch slipping

i just rolled over 30k miles on my 07 and my clutch has started slipping . truck is totally stock except the air filter and i am not rough on clutches . i tow a 13k lb. fiver from time to time and a 30 ft . flat bed . it started slipping while empty and not towing . i am curious as to how many people that don't race or abuse a clutch has had this happen ? i have a valair 500 hp 1000 lb tourque ceramic/kevlar with new hydraulics on the way . i hope i chose the right clutch .

Just wondering, but is the clutch not covered under warranty? Im not trying to talk you out of the valair, I have heard very good things about them and South Bend. Are you planning on deletes or anything? I would think that 500/1000 would do you well with mild upgrades with what you application is.

i called my dodge dealer and they said the clutch was only covered for 12 k miles . i also checked the warranty info that came with the owners manual and it also said 12 k . if it is the flywheel , i might could get it warrantied but , i would have the same problem again . i do plan to delete later as the warranty draws to an end and might do a mild towing tune . i am not young and into the racing . i just need to pull .

there junk mine did the same thing with the truck stock and no abuse. my dealer did replace the clutch and fly wheel under waranty in feb but then sent me a bill in oct for $1600 just for the fly wheel that dodge would not pay .i told them to shove it up there *****. if i was going to pay that much money i would have went with a good south bend clutch. i also called dodge and told them how i felt. i am now dpf deleted and smartied up and no prob with the 2nd clutch but it was a bull**** deal on dodges part !
