Truck started cutting out HELP!

My 05/09 6.7 with manual trans has started to stumble at low rpm, after every shift or just starting out. Feels like it is trying to stall. Sometimes soft sometimes hard, warm or cold same diff. Just rolled over 13k miles and never been in regen no codes, it just feels weak. Oil changed 3 times(mobil syn and mobil filter), fuel filter(Napa) changed once, no other work done. 5000 pound trailer feels a lot heavier than it did with my 5.9. HELP!

does it pick up after it gets through it's stumble ? any chance of a boost tube off or a loose clamp ?

Runs fine after that first little sputter/buck, I've been through all the hoses, my first thought was maybe i left something loose the last time i pulled the intake to change the oil filter. I' m wondering if the new fuel filter may have something to do with it. The local napa didn't have a gold filter, just the cheap one. I'm starting to think that it may not like the B20 that I've been running. I'm on my second tank of regular #2 with no addative and I think it feels a little less noticeable.

now i don't have a cummins but i have a ford 6.0 and i have had the same problem before one thing to check which worked for me was the fuel filter. i know you said you changed it but i too changed mine with a napa filter and same problem when i took it back out and compared it to the manufacture's filter it was a about an 1/8 inch shorter. i went down to the stealership and bought all new oil and fuel filters and wouldn't you know it. problem solved both oil and fuel filters were out of spec from napa. oh and they were acutually cheaper than napa. you might want to compare. but before you spend the coin also check all your clamps on your boost tubes and the tubes themselves for holes are a split in the rubber tube. hope you get back running strong. cheers!

Makes sense to me, and i am going to give some factory filters a try. The trouble didn't start until after the new fuel filter. Its amazing what effects filters can have on these new trucks. I had the same type of trouble with my wifes liberty CRD. It was cutting out and bucking, the dealership said it was tranny and programing issues. They actually had another one on a lift with the tranny out and some kind of patch kit going in allong with a reflash of the computer to follow. I wasn't sold. The problem started after the first oil change, so i bought a factory oil filter and compared to the one that was on the jeep, and it was different. the small holes on the factory unit were sealed after market was not. I installed the new filter and problem solved, don't ask me how, but it worked. 80K trouble free miles and counting. Thanks for the reminder!
