Good Shop To Do Some Mods On My New Truck

I am almost ready to go get my new truck. It will be a 2010 2500 Ram with a 6.7 and a six speed stick. I am not good working on diesels like a lot of you folks and I want to add the following, chip, airbox, egr delete, dpf delete and add a set of stacks. I was wondering if anybody knew of a shop close to me that did this kinda of work and was dependable. I am in wayne county ohio. I called the only place that I found which was called redline diesel and they don't answer or return messages so I think that are out. I should be ready within a month or less. Thanks.

Doing the all that, including the EGR delete is real easy. Now if you wanted to delete the EGR Cooler, there is one nut that will drive you crazy. Took 3 grown men and a sacrificed wrench to break it loose on my truck. If you were coming down to Texas at all any time soon you could bring your parts to my machine shop. You supply the beer and I could do it!

you guys are a great bunch. Thanks for the info. I don't know if they have enough beer for soot. Ha ha I'll keep looking and if I don't find somebody close then I will try it but I really don't feel that it would be a wise choice unless the directions were for dummies. I am a maintenance superviser for a industrial company but I have never touched a diesel engine other than change oil and filters. Again thanks and we'll see how it goes.

Thanks soot. think that it might be a pretty long drive though. I always have beer. From what they say I should get my money from this truck within the next two weeks. If you remember it kept having the check engine light that wouldn't stay off. I hired a lemon law attorney and they got back every penny that I had in the truck and they made chrysler pay their fees. They even paid for all the aftermarket stuff that I had put on it so I made out really well. This time I am going from an auto to a stick.

Karl is a great guy and will help you out.....he's local too. I have gotten some stuff from Karl and he's always treated me right and I've got some friends that he has done work to their trucks.

Other option is let me know as I am close. I've never worked on a 6.7L but if you have instructions I am sure we can figure it out. I'm in Massillon. I'm cheap....I'm not a beer guy but I sail with the Captain.
