Help??

Beleive i lost a head gasket on my 09 6.7 pushin antifreeze out the puke tank gonna pull head tonight does anyone know of a machine shop near akron-cleveland area that can o-ring it for me if i go that route 330-807-3873 or call with tips questions or suggestions not happy here edge set to stock smarty on level 1 mild tune for this to happen use truck to pull trailer usually round 13k not enought to make it push out a gasket i beleive

Not 100% sure but I believe that the timing levels in 14me and possibly 15me had Higher timing levels, 20 me is supposed to have much less timing in it. Right now with my jr I have timing set to default(maybe still paranoid) Could be your issue, but I wouldn't think it caused it towing unless you hot roding it cold.

How many miles ?

2010 6.7 cummins 4x4 crew cab short bed 6 speed auto 4:10 gears stock for now. Draw tite brake controller

Are you running your smarty with your edge tuned up too? If so, that could be a serious problem.

Did you have juice timing on and run a smarty odd SW? if so that is way to much timing. If you are running them stacked you need to either turn juice timing off or run a even SW on the Smarty... Stacking tuners you have to be very careful.

Smarty man i dont mean to harp but to many 6.7s having HG issues running this...Did your edge have a seperate option on it to turn the edge timing off and have a stock timing option? If not and you just set it to level zero then that could seriously be your issue cause turning it to zero(stock setting ) does not turn off timin all the way. Im sorry to hear this man are you for sure going to o ring it? Def get studs put in while its off especially if your going to continue running that smarty even wit it being on sw1. Take that Edge completly off and buy guages if thats what you were using it for dont even consider putting it back on and running again but i know you wont do that. Last thing BUY XRT!!!

Honestly man, I haven't heard of anybody blowin head gaskets on a mild tune with a Smarty. But ramp any programmer up and stack it, and your just increasing CP's too much with out studing it. I have never been a fan of stacking programmers though.
