Makes the paint look wet....

Black paint always looks SO good when it's just washed.....then 20 minutes, not so much.
Is there anything that will make it look better longer? Someone once told me there is something you can put on it that makes it look wet all the time. ???
The only thing I have found that helps with the dirt control is using the california duster on it the minute I get home and I mean EVERY time I get home. Even if I leave the house 3 times a day! There is a LOT of paint on those things!
Thanks
