Under Coating

Tell me if I'm crazy like my wife tells me. I have a 2003 F250 4x4 crew cab and i had surface rust underneath the truck so i first pressure washed it, then the next day i sand blasting all the rust off the body and the frame then blew it all off and sprayed rust converter (the stuff that tuns rust black and seals the steel). Then i bought one of those truck bed liner spray guns and got roof coat tar (the stuff thats real thin to begin with) and thinned it out more with paint thinner so it would spray though the gun and undercoated the whole bottom end of the truck it looks great! when it drys it's not tacky. And no even in 100 degrees it dose not rain tar on the driveway! And yes I covered the exhaust so it wouldn't get tar on it!

I just use Fluid Film twice a year. Worked good on my old truck, as it looked like new underneath. :smoke

Undercoating

Can you post some pics of the undercoating, would like to see how it looks and how it came out. I was wondering about having my under carriage done but there are no places that does this anymore, I use to do this at Ziebart years back, even done Rustproofing,Bedliners, Detailing/Waxing Vehicles,Sunroofs.
That was a cool Job.
