Cleaning Engine

Any good products/tips about cleaning off the engine? Thanks.

'99 2500 4X4 5spd 104K miles Ext Cab, longbed, Banks exhaust, Exhaust Brake, BHAF, comp, Raptor 150, gauges, 100 hp sticks.

Hey rwhite,

The first thing that you want to do is make sure that the engine is cool!

Use a Mild Degreaser like Adam's All Purpose Cleaner...or something like Simple Green.

Spray all over mind electronics.

Use a Brush and Scrub.

Rinse off and again mind electronics!

I use Adams all purpose, scrub with a soft brush, rinse off, then blow it off with leaf blower and air compressor. After that I wipe it down with a towel, and spray either Adams in & out spray, or under carriage spray. Looks good! Truck has 50K miles on it in these pics. I wash the it about every few months.

ok im going to defenelty have to get that polish now

1996 ram 2500 ex cab long 2wd, 5'' straight, 215s, 4k gsk(only revin till 3k), 16* timing, fuel plate MIA, afc modded FF, CFM intake mani, afe stage 2

15.40 at 90.61 in the 1/4th (09-18-10)
