man dang it..

i had a guy up the street buff my truck....now on drivers door there is a dull spot....i think he burnt the clearcoat....anything i can do about it???? oh and its only visible under just right light(nighttime under a light):

doubtful. Once it's burnt, it's burnt.

Now, are you certain it's burnt or is it swirl/haze marks you can see with direct, bright light (halogen flashlight)?

Which part? That it's burnt?

Or that you can see swirl haze marks in it?

Swirl/haze marks can be taken out with the right polishing tools (pads, dual action polisher, correct polish for the problem, etc.).

If you can get pics (bright flashlight or worklight or direct sunlight with a small aperture [put the camera on landscape]) and post them that would help determine the best course of action.

but if you need the right light. meaning dark with a light on it means to me that it might me a swirl wich can come out under the right conditions

if its possible can you find out what type of product was used and what type of buffer pad he used
