Used Motor oil

So my dad was taking in our old motor oil when the lid came off one of the buckets and sloshed about 1/2 gal into the bed of his truck...the rubber bed mat seems to be trashed and the plastic drop in liner is almost cleaned. after 2 hrs of cleaning on it, it is almost the something to put on the rubber bed mat to clean it..Im gonna try comet this weekend and wash and wax the whole truck is there a certain product they will clean this up really good, or any advise..

Try a heavy duty degreaser. I know many will laugh, but I have had good luck with Dawn dish detergent even. Also, use hot water if possible. Chris

Make sure to under the bedliner if any got thru. Dawn and hot water does work really well. You will probably have to get a new plastic mat if it soaked any up.
