Hehehehe--quality of Adams Super Machine Wax

The Line-X dealer I had spray my rocker panels today asked me "what kind of wax do you use--it must be some good stuff" since he couldn't get his wire-edge masking tape to stick to it AT ALL (tape slid right off the paint) and so he had to use some tequila to clean the paint so the tape would stick. I'm not sure I wanted to ask what he had a bottle of tequila in the shop for but it worked and the tape stuck, so I suppose that's alright. I told him that I use the Super Machine Wax from Adams and that I had put exactly one coat of it on three weeks ago! Having that kind of protection from such a minimal coat of old wax is fairly impressive, IMO...

What a waste of tequila.

A clay bar would've done the trick.

It is great stuff, ain't it!

I applied one coat of MSW back in March and my truck still sheets/beads water. Don't get too excited.

It's worth getting excited about when you have to chase your beer as it slides down the hood on a dirty truck because you forget the wax lasts that long

In my above post I meant to say "Don't get too excited about 3 weeks!"

I hate when something slides off of it. I am going to be applying another coat of MSW here pretty soon then applying a coat of their paste wax over that, should look pretty good.
