New injectors

My 03 6.0 finally needs injectors, bad.. I'm looking at a set from RCD, not sure which set to go with at this point. My truck is relatively stock, 4" turbo back, intake & elbow, SCT X3 with ID extreme street tune, & RCD egr delete. I would like to upgrade the stock turbo at some point & add studs, but that is down the road. I also use my truck as a daily driver/tow rig. From what I have read, alot of people go with the 190's. Looking for some input as far as performance & fuel mileage changes. Any input is greatly appreciated!

03 F350 4x4 6.0 PSD
SCT X3 with Eric's Xtreme Street Tune
RCD EGR DELETE
RCD 155's
4" TURBO BACK STRAIGHT PIPED
DIESEL SITE COOLANT FILTER
ACCUFAB 05 ELBOW
STATOR REMOVED (NO ISSUES)
ZOODAD MOD
ISSPRO TRIPLE GAUGES
05 HARLEY FRONT END
08 REAR CONVERSION

I know you can turn 190's down and make them work but if you are towing much weight, I would recommend 155's. That is what I am running in my truck and I tow a 5er that weighs 14Klbs.. My EGTs are well within check (even though I still have the stock turbo). Here is a post I made after I got back from a trip to Myrtle Beach, giving an update on towing with this set up.

2003 Toreador Red/Arizona Beige CC, DRW, Lariat, FX4, 6.0 PSD, Torqshift, born early Feb. 03; Silverline turbo-back dual exhaust; 155's from Full Force Diesel (Casserly); Di-Pricol gauges; ARP studs; Dfuser regulated return; AFE PG7;Tunes by Tony Wildman & IDP; B&W hitch; DIESELSITE Coolant filter; a whole bunch of "bling"; Connex 4300hp; Pioneer DEH6100BT radio; JL Audio 275w amp w/ 12" sub; Alpine door and rear seat speakers. pics

if you tow, go with josh's 155's. I've heard great results from them.

2004 F-350 XLT SC 4x4: SCT, AFE stage II, autometer gauges(pyro, boost, tranny, fuel), edge insight, CFM large mouth intake elbow, spearco, snow performance water injection, 5" stacks, ARP's, fluidampr, hypermax fire rings, LIPD regulated return, FASS, fuelab, casserly 190's, 64/71/70 turbo(polished compressor housing)modded FICM(ID), Hellmann's sump, electirc fans

I don't tow very often, a car trailer with a 3-4K vehicle. Although I do want to be able to tow heavier loads if necessary. So sounds like 155's would be a better "street" injector. Are there any power gains or tuning requirements when changing from stock injectors?

yes there are some power gains and there will hafta be some tune changes when going with a larger injector

That is going to be dependent upon the tuning... On Elite's website, they claim 155's will net a 90hp gain on stock tuning. That is also what Josh said when I was up there getting mine. He also said max'd out, they are capable of almost 500hp.

According to the SpeedTracer that came with my AE, the tow tune I am running is putting out 380.3hp/786.7ft-lbs. I don't really know how accurate the SpeedTracer is but don't doubt it is close since the truck feels stouter/quicker than it ever did on the stock injectors, even in the hottest tunes I had. This tune will literally roast my rear tires (all 4 of them) to the point they disappear in a cloud of tire smoke..

The street tune I have makes this tow tune feel like stock (I didn't try the SpeedTracer with it, so I have no numbers for it). I also have a race tune but frankly doubt it will ever be loaded since the street tune was ridiculously strong and racing is not my gig.....
