6.0 excrusion-2005

Hey everyone, just gotta chime in briefly and give a huge thanks to Speeddemon (Garrett) and Vivian for the tunes. My excursion is nothing like it was 3 days ago. Putting in the new exhaust (MBRP 4" str8 pipe was a pain in the ARSE, especially taking out the old exhaust and hooking up the up-pipe to the turbo. She screams now. Again thanks to all that helped me out and happy trails

I remember trying to get my stock downpipe out way back when. It ended up getting the sawzall treatment, came right out after that. Not sure if that was the issue with yours. Glad to hear all is well. Harry

I used the ole hacksaw, just before the cross member by the bend. I got the old exhaust out with no problem, it was putting in the new one that was exhuasting-no pun intended-especially trying to hook up the downpipe to the turbo kicked my arse! Now I am going to do the Zoodad mod, and then save up to do the egr delete. I might do the studs at the same time-still contemplating that one. Or I am going to get a new clutch for the beast. Geez, this crap is never ending! I am addicted to power. Between this and my three tractors(all IH of course) this power craze is costing me big $$$!

Good to hear that Vivian is back to putting out kick arse tunes.

I had studs, exhaust, and EGR delete all done within the first year of owning our 04.

Did you pull the engine out or lift the whole cab to do the studs? I just love this thing...and I only have it on tow tune. But this is also our family ride. I will be looking for a 2003-2006 F350 regular cab for the farm within the next two years.
