Aftermarket Intake?

I am doing the zoodad mod today, but does anyone have any input with an aftermarket intake. In your humble opinions, is it worth it? Do you feel a difference, or is it just psychological? Thanks.

Just can't express enough, how much I love this excursion. I am not a hard person to please. This thing puts a smile on my face everytime I turn the key.

the only real advantage to an aftermarket intake is that you wont ever have to buy another replacement filter. the stock filter surprisingly flows air extremely well.

I've had my Airaid for years and don't regret it. It did seem to slightly improve throttle response, but could just be I was hearing the turbo more. The main reason I bought it was so I could check my air filter easier, clean it once a year and never have to buy another. Plus its very easy to remove. At the time I bought mine, stock filters were still expensive, but they have come way down now in price. But I got the whole Airaid intake new for 170.00, but that was long ago.

thanks for the replies. I am considering getting one. It is PITA getting the airbox out.
