LiveWire Never Powers Down

My newly installed Livewire never powers down....not even overnight with the ignition off. Is this to be expected? Or has mine got a defect? Or is there a way to set it so it powers off?

Thanks

Nope it stays on all the time. I never found a setting to turn it off with the ignition, but if you hold down the jog button it turns off.

My $150 ScanGauge II is more user friendly than this Livewire. It is also powered by the OBD port. It powers down with key off (at least the display goes blank) and then, with key on, it comes back on doing exactly what it was doing before powering off.

The SG II also gives me various trip data which I find useful. The Livewire does not.

And the SG II is "low profile," making it is less susceptible to theft.

However, the SG does not have analog input and it can only display 4 gauges at a time. And, of course, it is not a tuner.
