looney vs extreme street

i have both files . havent really given the looney much of a try but was wondering if they are suppose to be putting down the sane amount of power .
i loaded looney the day i got it and it just didnt feel as powerful as the extreme street . so what i am wondering is , are they suppose to feel similar or is extreme street suppose to feel faster ? thanx .

they arent the same. The looney is a race file and the x-street isn't.

Yeah that is wierd. X-race is innovatives race file where the x-street is just a step below that.

X-race and X-street have about the same power levels, the main difference is in the transmission behavior.

Eric had told me that the x-race fuels just a little bit more than the x-street

Good Morning,

I hope everyone is having a beautiful day!

I think this is Roger from Canada? I hope you are doing well. Did you get the tps sensor replaced? I thought after you discovered that it was bad, all was ok with you Looney. Let me know.

The Looney is not a race file. It is a performance file for daily driving. We have race files and the setup is totally different. We offer the Looney Wild for daily drivers, who have aftermarket headstuds, and are looking for a little more horsepower. Then again, it is also a daily driver file since we add a lot of drivability parameters to make it a smooth strong ride.

For the track we have a Looney Wild race file. Unlike the Looney Wild, this file is available to everyone who wants to race, at the track. For the split seconds that you take the pass, it will not hurt your truck. Among other parameter changes it locks the converter in the lower gears to give you more power to the ground. I don't implement this in the daily driver files because with prolonged use, I believe, it will lead to tranny failure, not to mention it wouldn't be very comfortable for daily driving. It also includes specific settings to lower your 60 ft time. A parameter I don't believe is needed for the daily driver.

The beauty of it is, if you purchase the tuner from us, you have access to all these files at no additional cost.

Happy Tuesday!
Vivian
