Fresh rebuild, Long crank

Just did ARP studs, Gaskets, sent the heads out and did EGR delete. Truck cranks for a long time before it starts. Was wondering what it could be. Air in fuel? HPOP leak?
How do I figure out which it is or trace it down?

If it continues to crank a long time, even after you've run it a lot, it could be a HP oil leak that's bleeding off your HP oil when it is shut off.

Get it cranked, nice and warmed up, and go dog it for a little while. This is how you get any air out of the high pressure oil system. Is it turning over fast enough? You've got to have nice strong batteries for normal crank times.
