Scan gauge 2

Just got one yesterday, still trying to figure it out. I don't see a selection for engine coolant temp in the x gauge selections on the site under 6.0. Any tips for using this unit?

2008 6.4L PSD mods someday.

SOLD:2003 6.0L PSD. Tinted windows, Kenwood Cd player, Banks 4 inch Monster 1/2 way back to MBRP 6 inch Miter cut dual stacks, Rhino lined bed and rockers,S&B airfilter, Sct tuned by various, DiProcol Tranny, EGT and boost gauges in pillar mount, Go Rhino steps on 33x12.50 Toyo M/t's with black 18x9 Ultra Mammoth rims.Dfuser coolant kit,Ford Blue fuel pressure spring, ARP studs, Black excursion grill with enlarged Black emblem, 2008 tailgate with black emblem and black super duty lettering and 2008 tail lights RCD egr delete..

The coolant temp is already coded into the unit iirc, no need to x-gauge code it. Mine is listed as fWT (fahrenheit Water Temp). I keep my coolant and oil temps side by side on my gauge. But you can modify the terminology if you want on the gauge, and list any of the readings to your own custom terminology, within 3-allowed spaces, like ECT and EOT, etc...

It takes a little practice to get the coding numbers entered for the x-gauge features, but once you do they are always there to scroll through.

Found it right after posting. What are the normals for injection control pressures? How does the mass fuel and volume fuel desire work?

Normal engine idling ICP's vary on different trucks and are higher when the engine oil is cold, but mostly react the same at driving speeds and hard accel. With the engine fully warmed up, mine reads 790psi at idle, and up to 4000psi under hard accel. ICP's should react instantly when accelerating or letting off the go pedal while driving, and will have a vast range of readings between the high and low when driving. It takes a minimum of 500psi to start the truck, and I have heard of some trucks running as low as 550psi at idle warmed up, but I would say anything over 600psi at idle and you are good.

The mass/fuel-volume is a feature I don't regularly use, so I can't give you any feedback on the normals right now.

Thanks. Seen 700 something at idle. Mainly got the scan to check my film for curiosity. All is good.
