New 6L

Just picked up my 2nd 6.0. 1 owner CCSB lariat with 115k on it. I had an 06 xlt that I loaded act canned performance tune on and it was rock solid for 90k like that. Abused everyday and never had a problem. I would like to straight pipe the new truck and put a street tune in it for DD. head studs will be coming but not right away. I have a blown mustang for my speed thrills but I would like a reliable street tune. Doesn't have to be crazy power but something that will keep up with a 6.7 stock cummins

A "proper" custom written street performance tune, specifically designed for your trucks engine and transm strategy coding and any modifications on the truck, will outperform any canned one fits all tuning in all aspects. But if canned tuning works for you, and you are happy with it, then thats what really counts. Some canned programming works ok with some strategies.

I would prefer a custom written tune for my truck. I have an extra unmarried x3 I just need to get in touch with someone to write them.

I use Mike at KEM Performance for my tuning, there are many others too, but only a handful really know how to dial them in. Innovative diesel would be my second choice, both are very good. If your X3 is unmarried/unlocked and has canned tunes in it already, I would try those first and see how she runs.

I don't think the canned tunes are still present on this x3. I used it to tune my mustang after the motor build and I have since uploaded the stock program back into the ECM because I will be going with a standalone fuel injection system. I have 4 unlocks left in the handheld. I saw spartan? Has a free archive i may try depending on my strategy.
