For myself, I would rather have the SCT X3 and additionally purchase a ScanGauge2 for monitoring the critical engine/transm data. The livewire has some nice handy features, but won't read all the data like a ScanGauge2 does. ScanGauge2 is not a tuner, but only cost about 160.00 and reads nearly everything important for the 6.0 once the X-gauge features are coded in.
