TS 5X Loader Installed

Installed the TS 5X Loader last week. I really like the strong, smooth tunes, especially 100hp, 135hp, and 150hp. They are a little less intense than SCT and Quad. I am not looking for race power, since I am using the truck as a commute vehicle. I like the power to come on smooth, vs abrupt as I shift through the gears with my six speed. The lower hp tunes have a bit of "turbo lag" from a dead stop, almost like stock. Mid to high range power is great with all the tunes, though progressively higher with higher hp.

I am running the 75hp tune this week to see if I can further improve fuel mileage. Just filled up my first 1/2 tank after running on 100hp setting last week. Tryed to keep it under 2,000 RPM, this was no fun but fuel mileage went up about 1.5 mpg to 16.7 for mixed city / highway driving. Hand calculated, filled to visible level, first 1/2 tank of fuel.

Thats interesting! Keeping your shifts below 2K rpms with a auto is next to imposible to me! Your getting great mileage! Keep us informed!

I have not found out how to keep them below 2000 with my auto, would love to be able to though.

Mine would bogg and not be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talk about LUGGING with an auto... But maybe the 35's hurt it a bit.

I know nothing about the 5x loader but would think the 135hp tune would provide the best mileage with "normal" driving. Not insane throttle response but still good efficient power.

I was getting 18mpg city/hwy avg. with the Edge Attitude on 5-3 and 20.5 pure highway driving. My mileage is off now with the 38's so it's hard to know what I'm getting with it now.

Black 03 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 Shortbed Lariat - studded 6.0, sunroof, MBRP muff-less exhaust, SCT tuning, JW trans, Cobalts, lifted, ProComp Xtreme ATs, 4.56 gears, High-Angle CV Driveline, Warn 15k, AmpSteps, stainless brake lines, Powerslots /Hawk, AGR pump/gearbox/ram, projector headlamps and one heavy foot....

Audio: Kenwood DDX-8017 in-dash TV/DVD/GPS, kickpanel pods, MB Quart 1" tweets/5.25"mids in kicks, 6.5" midbass in doors, rear MB Quart 6x8, Fosgate amps / 3000 watts, 3 - JL 10w6's. Fully Dynamatted and foamed interior.

hand calculated, if your talking to me. I also use a gps when traveling long distances, so I was comparing my odot with the gps for miles.... that was also with the 35's and stock gearing which helped it by lowering my rpms on the highway. that's a huge bonus for highway drivers, raising the gearing a little.

I'm sure my mileage is in the dirt now, with 38's, 4.56's and a heavy foot. I'm revved pretty high cruising at 75... sucks. 4.30 would be a better option for the 37"/38" tire.
