A Question for the tuners out there

Hello all, I was wondering if it is in your tuning capabilities to pull fueling of individual cylinders? I'm seeing all kinds of commercials for chevy and dodge gas V8's with technology that kills fuel/spark? to 4 of the cylinders while on the highway for better economy. I would hope this is possible for diesels too. Lots of the time I run unloaded on the highway, and better mpg's would be nice. Thanks
