SCT question

Can you purchase a X2 unit programmed for a mustang and have it re-programmed for a powerstroke, ie purchasing a tune from a vender on the board?

yes, shouldn't be a problem as long as the vehicle has been returned to stock before they sell it.

You need to get a decent deal on the unit though to make it worthwhile.

They would have to have the means to unlock the programs that the mustang had on the x2 - if not then it is useless for you unless you had a mustang with the same mods as who you bought it from.

So for the price of a new unit from you, does it come with "generic" tunes or custom?
