Cat delete question with Banks 6 gun.

Does anyone know if it will effect anything if I delete my cat. I have a 2004 6.0 and am running the 6 gun. I don't want it to mess with the check engine light or throw off the 6 guns readings. I know the 6 gun monitors your engine to keep it in a safe range. Is anyone running the 6 gun without a cat? Also, how much louder is it? Should I get a cat delete pipe or just weld in a piece of pipe?

Thanks in advance, Eric.

Get a delete pipe, you'll thank me later.

Thanks guys. I am thinking I am going to do the cat delete just in case they decide to start smogging diesels in the future I will still have the cat to re-install, plus if its louder I'm all for it.

Thanks again, Eric
