I currently have a BD
triple dog programmer on my 6.0, but am going to give it to my dad for his cummins. I am looking at the Xcal2, but am curious of tranny longevity.
Truck has 99k on it in 2 years, run in performance mode most of the time. (med. setting)...no problems that I know of.
I am curious if a Xcal2 will toast my TC it's highest setting. If not that, would it handle the extreme program version? Truck is DD, not a drag truck, just looking for a new programmer. I am not sure whether to get the standard version or the extreme tune version.
Just for kick and giggles...can anyone tell me avg. mpg's they are getting w/ what tune?
Thanks for all the help. Love the site.
