Pro-Comp EGT gauge question

I have a 2004 6.0L and I just installed an EGT gauge. Everything was working fine for a few days but now it goes in circles all the time. It won't read accurate 90% of the time.

I will stop at a light and the temp will start climbing and then do a full circle and end up in the same spot again. I don't know if it is the gauge or something else. Has anyone else seen or heard of this before?

I currently have the Banks 6 gun installed and it has it's own pyrometer installed about 8" away from the Pro-Comp one. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not. Any ideas?

I checked the ground because I know that can cause a gauge to go crazy, but everything looked good.

My next step would be to try and install my friends gauge that he has no problems with.

Thanks, Eric
