Thinking of straight pipe...opinions wanted

I have a 4 inch Gibson exhaust and it's just too quiet for me. I'm thinking of pulling the muffler and throwing some 4 inch pipe in there.

Guys with straight pipes...any resonating...good sound? Good turbo sound?

I'll probably just do it but curious of others who have done it.

I would not have it any other way. Within 2 months of purchase I went straight.

I have an MBRP 4" system with no cat and a straight through muffler and have considered the same thing.

Mine sounds great, but I keep wondering if it would sound better with a muffler delete. Every straight pipe sound clip I have heard sounds great. I just would like to hear one in person before making the decision. : laugh

Here's a bunch of clips I saved while trying to convice myself to go straight pipe:

Just do it. You won't even notice much of a difference while crusing. WOT gets a little loud. It sounds even better when its 5" dumped infront of the rear tire. Thats my problem. I like my stacks, but it sounds better dumped before the rear tire.
